The wisdom of teenagers

I had a wonderful time visiting family in East London. You can see Brett and I in the middle at the back. As you can see, he has a huge family as he is the youngest of four children and there were 20 people altogether at his father's 70th birthday celebration.
We stayed with his sister, Heather. Yes, she has the same name as me. :)

She has two teen daughters and a son.

You can see them on either side of us. The younger one is staring into her boyfriend's eyes and the older one is on the other side (she is second year vasity).

They had some wonderful animals at their home. Check out this dog, Gracie, who just wants you to throw her the ball:

And how about this cute cat, Milo, sleeping on my suitcase:

But what really impressed me was the "door art" from these two daughters. Take a look for yourself at these deep words from the younger daughter when she was going through a hard time:

And then some humourous stuff:
And on the other door:

"Life is not measureed by the number of breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away!"
I think that's a good way to end as any :)

Thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog awhile back (the Disney World: Then and Now post).

I love that quote too! So true and so moving. :)
